| I finally went back to Graduate School in
2003. Despite being diagnosed with cancer that year and helping take
care of Mother as she battled Alzheimer's disease, I managed to graduate
with a Master of Public Administration with a 4.0 GPA. The gold cord
indicates I was inducted into Phi Alpha Alpha, the honor society for SUPA,
the School of Urban Planning and Administration. Graduation was held
on Mother's Day that year. |
